On Sunday 27 February, over 37 people came to south Hornchurch and helped plant over 500 trees. This was the Havering Daily’s third event as part of the Trees for Havering campaign that saw us plant the trees at Bretons Farm Allotment.

A mixture of trees were planted to create a hedgerow and woodland area that will support wildlife and biodiversity.

Well done to everyone involved and a huge thank you to the Woodland Trust and The Conservation Volunteers for supplying the trees.

Our next events are:

12th March – Stubbers Adventure Centre (Upminster) – www.facebook.com/events/378329704025997/

13th March – Rainham Riverside BID (Rainham) – www.facebook.com/events/644099276876547/
