To commemorate Her Royal Highness the Queen, a special Platinum Jubilee pear tree was planted yesterday at Margaret Thatcher House in Romford.

The Romford MP Andrew Rosindell alongside Romford Councillors including former Mayor and Mayoress Councillors Dilip and Nisha Patel, all gathered together to plant the tree at the front of the head quarters of the Romford Conservative Association.

It was planted on the same day February 6, seventy years since HRH the Queen’s accession to the throne.

Mr Rosindell said:

“On this day 6 February 2022, 70 years since Her Majesty The Queen’s accession to the throne, with immense pride, we plant the ‘Platinum Jubilee Pear Tree’ at Margaret Thatcher House in honour of our Sovereign and Her service to the nation.”
