Nine year old girl hit by car in Romford.

Esher Avenue in Romford was closed this afternoon after a collision involving a car and a nine year old girl. The air ambulance was at the scene and the child was taken to hospital where her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 15:28hrs on Wednesday, 12 January to reports of a car in collision with a pedestrian on Esher Avenue in Havering.

“Officers and London’s Air Ambulance attended. The pedestrian, believed to be aged nine years old, was taken to hospital. Her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

“The road was closed whilst emergency services were on scene.”
