Two males sought after Barking assault leaves man with life changing injuries.
Detectives have released images of two men they would like to speak to after a man was seriously injured during a disturbance in Barking.
Police were called at around 20:30 on Saturday, 4 September, to reports of an altercation in Station Approach.
Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and found a man aged in his 30’s with a serious head injury.
It was established that during an argument between a group of men, the base of a traffic cone was thrown, hitting the victim and causing him to fall to the ground.
He remains in hospital where he continues to receive treatment for life-changing injuries. His family are being supported by specially trained officers.
Detective Constable Louise Powell, from East Area CID, said: “This attack has left the victim with a serious head injury which could have lifelong consequences for him and his family.
“We are committed to finding those responsible and are now appealing for the public’s help to identify two men who were seen in the area at the time of the attack.”
