Havering councillor and former Mayor charged with harassment.

On Monday 4 of October Havering Councillor Michael Deon Burton is due to appear in court charged with harassment.

The south Hornchurch Conservative councillor and former Mayor will appear at Barkingside Magistrates court after being charged by postal requisition.

It is believed the harassment charges are against another Havering councillor.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Havering Daily:

“Michael Deon Burton-66 years old (05.11.54) of Lower Mardyke Avenue, Rainham is scheduled to appeal at Barkingside Magistrates’ court on Monday October 4. He was charged by postal requistion with harassment.”
