Woman found dead in Collier Row-death unexplained.

A 52 year old woman has been found dead at Cardiff Close in Collier Row yesterday morning.The death is currently being treated as unexplained and a post mortem is being held later today.

A Met police spokesperson told the Havering Daily:

“At 10:00hrs on Friday, 24 September, officers attended an address in Cardiff Close, Romford after concerns were raised for the welfare of the occupant.

“A 52-year-old woman was found unresponsive inside the property.

“London Ambulance Service paramedics attended but despite their best efforts, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:22hrs.

“Her death is being treated as unexplained and an urgent investigation has been launched to establish the circumstances. A post-mortem examination will commence on today, Saturday, 25 September.

“Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call 101, giving the reference 7965/23SEP.”
