‘Tell us your Collier Row story’.
This summer Havering Changing are giving local residents the opportunity to tell ‘Your Collier Row’ story.
It doesn’t matter if you’ve lived in Collier Row for 50 years or 50 days, Havering Changing would love to hear from you!
You can work with a spoken word/rapper to tell your story or create a poem to reflect your experiences. You can work with a photographer to create visual representations of the place and the people there that you look up to. Local businesses and individuals can take part in interviews to capture their story in audio or video format and ALL stories will be recorded for future generations to share in.
Pop along to RM5 Lounge in Clockhouse Lane on today, Tuesday 10th August between 7pm-9pm to find out more!
There you can chat to one of the team to find out more, sign up for the photography, writing and performance workshops and have a go at one of the activities if you want to try it out first. Bring a friend, bring your brother, your daughter, your grandad – anyone who’s got a story to tell.
