Elm Park joins in the London in Bloom challenge by celebrating 100 years of the Royal British Legion.
Elm Park Councillor Stephanie Nunn today writes in the Havering Daily:
Today, the RHS judges will be here in Elm Park for London in Bloom
Readings Estate Agents are displaying a soldier made up of poppies by children at St Albans School. They have also made butterflies to add to the display.
We have plants and artwork from Elm Park Baptist Church play group and bees from St Nicholas Pre -School.
Over 500 poppies have been knitted and crocheted for two cascades which will be at the Royal British Legion and St Nicholas Church.
A big thank you for this marvellous effort, any not used will be sold in November for the Poppy Appeal
