Planning Application in Dunmow Drive rejected.

Local residents who were backed by Jon Cruddas MP in opposing a developer’s plans to build two houses in Dunmow Drive Rainham were relieved to hear that the planning application has been rejected.

Havering Planners accepted the arguments put forward by residents and the Member of Parliament and refused to grant permission.

Mr Cruddas said “ We need new homes that are affordable for local people, this proposed development was not about that. It would have led to overdevelopment imposed on a settled local community.”
