Police are appealing for witnesses after a car mounted the pavement hitting a man and then driving off. The incident occurred last Friday in Woodford and police are appealing to anyone who may have footage to please come forward.

A Met Police spokesperson told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called at 15:20hrs on Friday, 26 March to Horn Lane, Woodford, following reports that a car had mounted a pavement and collided with a man before making off.

Officers attended with the LAS and a man, aged in his 40s, was taken to hospital. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

There have been no arrests.

Enquiries continue.”

Police urge anyone who witnessed this incident or has any footage, to contact police by calling 101, quoting cad reference 4505/26Mar.
