A budding amateur artist from Hornchurch has created an amazing mosaic in her front garden as a personal year of reflection to remember the challenging year had by all last year.

Lesley from Maybrick Road, is a very talented artist in her spare time and decided to create a beautiful mosaic on her front wall for everyone to see to pay tribute to 2020.

She told the Havering Daily: “I do a lot of mosaics and I had a gap in the wall so I thought this would be a good opportunity to fill it with my memories from last year. With everything that went on last year, I thought this would be a good way to reflect on it.

“My daughter is a nurse so that is included in the mosaic and sadly I lost my dog in December so he is in there as well.”

The mosaic depicts things we can all recognise from last year and pays tribute to our amazing NHS staff.

Lesley is helping to raise money for the Marie Curie Cancer charity, so if you would like to see her amazing mosaic and donate to the charity, please see the link below.
