Havering ’90 Joggers are a local running group. Like many clubs, we have struggled to keep active during the Covid 19 Lockdown. Whilst being mindful of the socially distant restrictions currently in place we are acutely aware of the mental health issues that are associated with Lockdown and have tried to organize activities that are within government guidelines and are available to all that will get people out and about.

With that as a backdrop “The Rogers” Hagan and Winston organised “The Lockdown Lollop”, a series of five, 5+ mile trails, all based in the Hornchurch area, designed to get you out into the fresh air for some welcome Covid compliant exercise and the opportunity to put down the Sudoku and use your brainpower trying to navigate the course’s and decipher the not too original secret message. We asked for a voluntary donation to First Step, a charity that Joggers have supported for a number of years. Many of our members have completed the trails, they can be run or walked. Given the positive feedback we have received we are confident that others would enjoy this event.
