14 year old robbed of phone by moped muggers in Elm Park has phone returned by police.

A 14 year old boy from Elm Park who had his i phone stolen from him last Sunday evening is over joyed at having it recovered and returned by police.

The teenager who was robbed of his phone by two males on mopeds between 7-8pm outside of Elm Park station was distraught after being mugged. The two males wore face coverings but not helmets.

The 14 year old boy, whose parents are both deaf, went home upset and informed his parents of what had happened. His father contacted the police who began an investigation.

A week later, the family were contacted by police who had informed them that the suspects had been apprehended at Bexley Heath station and the mugger had been arrested.

The teenager has now had his phone returned.
