Hulse Avenue in Barking has been cordoned off following a stabbing this afternoon. A teenage boy has been taken to hospital about being found with stab wounds.

A Met Police spokesperson told the Havering Daily:

“Police were called at 15:44hrs on Friday, 12 March to reports of an assault on Hulse Avenue in Barking.

“Officers attended and found a boy, believed to be aged in his mid-teens, suffering from stab injuries. He was taken by the London Ambulance Service to an east London hospital for treatment. We await an update on his condition.”

There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
