Harold Wood PTA collect toiletries for Women’s Aid.

Well done to the ladies from the Harold Wood Primary School PTA who are always raising money for charity.

This time the team of amazing ladies have collected toiletries from their local area to donate to Women’s Aid in Havering.

Michelle, who organised this collection told the Havering Daily:

“Harold Wood Primary School PTA did a toiletries collection throughout Harold Wood and surrounding areas for Women’s Aid Havering https://m.facebook.com/HaveringWA/. They are an amazing small local charity supporting local women and children who have suffered domestic abuse. They were so very grateful when we delivered them. These women often flee their homes with nothing and seek refuge.

“We collected from over 100 houses, filled four cars and are so grateful for the communities support.

“This pandemic has brought out the best in people and it really is great to see a community come together but unfortunately due to the current situation domestic violence is on the increase so it was nice to do something to support an amazing charity. “

Well done Ladies, you are real community heroes!
