A car was removed from a residential address in Rainham yesterday after crashing into a wall along Stanley Road North.

A Met police spokesperson told the Havering Daily: “Police were called at approximately 05:10hrs on Wednesday, 20 January to reports of a burglary at an address in Stanley Road North, Rainham.

“The occupant reported an attempt had been made to steal a car; the car had been abandoned at the address after colliding with a wall.”

No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
