Driver arrested on suspicion of drink driving after collision on A127 Romford.

Parts of the A127 Southend bound just after Gallows Corner in Romford were closed earlier today following a collision between a motorcyclist and a vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and remains in custody.

A Met police spokesperson told the Havering Daily: “Police were called at 13:56hrs on Friday, 16 October to reports of a collision involving a car and a motorcyclist on the A127 in Romford.

“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended.

“The driver of the car (no further details) was arrested on suspicion of drink driving. He remains in custody.”

Enquiries into the circumstances of the incident continue.
