BREAKING: Man shot in Romford this morning.

A crime scene is in place after a man was shot in Romford. The shooting took place just after 7.30 am this morning along White Hart Lane in Collier Row.
A Met Police spokesperson told the Havering Daily: “Officers were called to reports of a shooting at 07:37hrs on Wednesday, 14 October at White Hart Lane, Romford.
“Officers attended and found a man, aged in his mid-30s, with a gunshot injury to his leg.
“London Ambulance Service have attended the scene and the man has been taken to hospital.
“Local road closures are in place.”
