Upminster police are launching a new volunteer police cadets group for young people aged between 13 and 18 years old.

The campaign is being run by Havering School’s Officer PC Taff Edwards and will take place at Coopers Coborn School in Upminster.

Volunteer Police Cadets aim to promote a practical understanding of policing amongst all young people. They encourage a spirit of adventure and citizenship and to support local policing priorities through volunteering. They also give young people the chance to be heard and inspire them to participate positively in their communities.
