Man charged with murder in Dagenham.
Detectives investigating the fatal stabbing of a man in Dagenham have charged a man.
Vasile Firanda, 59 (01.05.60) of Marlborough Road, Dagenham, has been charged with the murder of 49-year-old Viorel Stefan.
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service to a residential property in Marlborough Road, Dagenham, at 22.10hrs on Saturday, 14 December, to reports of a stabbing.
Mr Stefan was found with life-threatening stab injuries. Despite the efforts of emergency services, he was declared dead at the scene at 22.39hrs.
Firanda has also been charged with GBH against a 55-year-old woman.
He is due to appear before Barkingside Magistrates’ Court this morning, Monday 16th of December.
