Fantastic news from Havering Police.

Last week we published crime prevention advice for our residents in response to a rise in residential burglaries reported in Havering.

Following a proactive intelligence led operation, we have now made several significant arrests. This investigation is ongoing and officers are working tirelessly to secure a successful outcome.

Since these arrests have been made we have seen a dramatic fall in burglary offences reported across the borough.

We believe that this group may be responsible for further offences that have yet to be reported to police. If you have been the victim of burglary or an attempted burglary, predominately in the North of Havering (Collier Row and Harold Hill/Harold Wood) then we urge you to contact us by sending an email, including your contact details, to the below email address.

An officer will contact you back to discuss the incident and complete a report so it can be fully investigated.

Please ensure you continue to follow safety advice to secure your homes and cars.
