An amendment was bought forward in Parliament yesterday, Wednesday 8 January to hold a national inquiry into the Pakistani child rape gangs.
The amendment was part of the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill and was rejected by MP’s last night in a vote at the House of Commons.
MP’s voted by 364 votes to 111 against the Bill.
Here is how Havering’s three Members of Parliament voted:
Andrew Rosindell- Romford-Conservative, voted in favour of a National Inquiry.
Julia Lopez-Hornchurch and Upminster-Conservative, voted in favour of a National Inquiry.
Margaret Mullane-Dagenham and Rainham-Labour, abstained.
