Well done to our officers from the East Area Violence Suppression Unit who yesterday arrested a 17 year old male after he was found with a firearm in his waist band.
The youth made off from officers in Dagenham and was then found to be wanted in connection with two robberies and in possession of a firearm in his trouser waistband.
The gun was tested by specialists and discovered to be a converted weapon so classed aa a viable firearm.
The 17 year old has now been charged with possessing a firearm.
