PC Amanda Kirkpatrick is hanging up her handcuffs after 33 years of dedicated hard work supporting vulnerable people across London and bringing offenders to justice.
Amanda is a remarkable officer who has spent over 20 years working in east London dealing with the most vulnerable people in our society. She was as a matter of fact, one of the officers to be in the Met’s first ever Domestic Violence unit that started in Hackney many years ago.
Amanda is a very kind and caring lady who has faced her own obstacles and challenges that have motivated to help our communities even more.
Now, after serving 33 years as a Met Police Officer, Amanda is retiring and saying goodbye to East Area.
Thank you Amanda for all your hard work, commitment and dedication. You are a community champion.
