At The Beacon Tree pub on Green Lane in Dagenham, a bleed kit was officially installed yesterday Monday 15th of November by anti knife crime legend Courtney Barrett from Binning Knives Saves Lives.
The knife crime hero has made it his mission to install as many of these kits working with the Daniel Baird Foundation, as he possibly can across key venues in our communities.
Yesterday, thanks to Kerry the land lady at the Beacon Tree pub, a vital bleed kit was installed to potentially save a persons’s life.
Mr Barrett is one of the capital’s biggest anti knife crime campaigners and a local hero on the streets for really dedicating his life to stopping youngsters arming themselves with knives. Not only does he actively take knives off our streets with his world famous wheelie bin and install bleed kits in our community but he also campaigns tirelessly against knife crime and is the voice of many bereaved parents who have turned to him for support due to the authorities failure to tackle this ongoing nightmare.
Yesterday was another step forward in the endless battle to stop these horrific stabbings from killing our youth daily.
