New sensory garden for Newton’s Primary School.

Well done to members of Joni’s Army who have raised funds to create a wonderful sensory garden at Newton’s Primary School in South Hornchurch.

The charity team went in during the six week holiday break to create this amazing garden that will help support children who have wheelchairs and were previously not able to access the garden.

Lynette Allsop Deputy Headteacher at Newton’s School told the Havering Daily:

“Whilst Newton’s Primary school were having a wonderful time enjoying their Summer holidays, Joni’s Army were extremely busy creating a magical sensory garden. Newtons Primary school are totally overwhelmed by the generosity of Joni’s Army and really can not thank them enough for what they have achieved. The children of Newton’s Primary school have thoroughly enjoyed taking their learning outside and exploring all that the sensory garden has to offer.”

Well done to everyone involved.
