Two local entertainers to run half marathon dressed as Superman and Flash!

Local singing legends Chris Vegas and Rik from Ricknroll Mascots will be running in the Havering Half Marathon in a bid to raise money for Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Trust. The two entertainers that are well known in the borough, are not only running the money to raise money for charity, but also running dressed as Superman and Flash!

The local marathon takes place in September and the two performers will also be embarking in a series of challenges throughout the summer to help raise as much money as possible.

Chris told the Havering Daily:

“In September, myself and Rik from Ricknroll Mascots will be running in the Havering half marathon raising money for the Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia dressed as superman and the flash.

“Leading up to the race, we are doing different challenges, a fun sort of rivalry in order to raise that little bit extra.
So far we’ve done a sing off each week involving different topics, eating an inferno nacho and just recently I have shaved my head. With many more challenges to come. We have nearly raised £400 already which is amazing but we are hoping to raise more.”
