Hornchurch and Upminster MP to host discussion and training session with google to help local small businesses and charities improve their digital marketing.

Following successful virtual Jobs, Apprenticeships and Skills Fairs, on Friday April 9th, Julia Lopez MP will be hosting a discussion and training opportunity with Google for local small businesses and charities.

This event will provide an opportunity for a discussion among the leaders of local small businesses and charities on how they have adapted and any further support they need to not only operate, but grow and be part of the UK economic recovery.

Following the discussion, attendees will be joined by one of Google’s Digital Garage trainers to share some tips and tricks on how they can improve their digital marketing, as well as providing advice about the free training and one-to-one mentoring that Google are offering to small businesses and charities.

Across the UK, businesses and charities are adjusting – and Julia wants to make sure that businesses and charities in Hornchurch and Upminster are able to make the most of free resources to support their digital needs.

For further information on the event, to register and for guidance on the other training opportunities available with Google, please visit Julia’s website at the below address. Spaces are limited, so please register by Wednesday 7th April at the latest to reserve your spot. The Google team will follow up with additional details.

Hornchurch and Upminster’s MP, Julia Lopez, said, ‘In previous virtual events, it was great to bring to bring employers directly to constituents to discuss exciting job and apprenticeship opportunities in both the public and private sector.  I am very pleased to partner with Google to bring their Digital Garage team to the constituency to provide guidance on digital marketing for both small businesses and charities within the constituency. In the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, the digital profiles of organisations. have grown in importance and I hope that this event will help attending organisations to increase their digital reach.’
