Appeal: Local businesses wanted to join in Harold Hill virtual Christmas fayre.

A local small business owner has set up the ‘Harold Hill Virtual Christmas Fayre’ to help local business in Harold Hill and raise money for charity.

Coryn from Northill Drive in Harold Hill runs Cams Creation, a craft business that makes picture frames and other crafts and usually has a stall at the Harold Hill Christmas lights switch on.

Due to the pandemic, sadly this year there will be no Christmas light switch on’s throughout the borough and Coryn fears for the impact it will have on local businesses that have already had to get through months of closure.

She told the Havering Daily: “I have decided to start this Virtual Christmas fayre to help local business trade and make some much needed money for charities that are also really struggling.

“I run a small business and it has been really tough going. Someone invited me to another virtual Christmas fayre and that gave me the idea to start one here in Harold Hill.”

A facebook page has been launched where local businesses can advertise their products and people can support local businesses by buying their products.

“I am looking for any local Havering business that would like to promote their products at our virtual fayre. It costs £5 to join and the money is all going to a local charity.”

Harold Hill has a great local community, lets help our businesses get through these tough times.
