Operation Pima-Havering Covid 19 engagement & enforcement police action.

Operation Pima will provide daily updates on the police enforcement during the Covid 19 pandemic.

Two individuals who were required to quarantine were yesterday reviewed for compliance by Operation Pima patrols.

One was found to be out shopping and not complying to the rules. A verbal warning was issued and a further follow up as part of today’s visits and patrol will be actioned with the individual to ensure compliance.

The other individual was found to be complying and taking sound personal responsibility.

Patrols will continue daily by Officers as part of Operation Pima and in partnership with the local authority. Where a breach is identified, a risk of penalty fines being issued is likely. Each situation considered on individual circumstances and factors.
