Romford man arrested on suspicion of violent disorder at the recent London protests.


A man from Romford has been arrested as part of a number of arrests yesterday morning following the recent protests in London.

During the early hours of Wednesday the 8th of July, officers arrested a number of people believed to be responsible for instigating violence during the recent protests and demonstrations in London.

The thirty-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder linked to these protests.

The men have been released under police investigation as enquiries continue.

This brings the total number of arrests in relation to recent disorder from Sunday, May 31st to Friday 24th of June including the unlicensed music event in Brixton to 258.
