Today’s picture of the day comes from Peter Wheelband of Romford Labour.

Peter and Carol Karaca have been working tirelessly to support our amazing staff at Queen’s and King George’s hospital for weeks now.

The Havering Daily has been running appeals looking for toiletries and now snacks to support NHS staff that have been moved out of their homes to help care for patients with Covid 19.

It is Peter and Carol who have been liaising with the hospital and the community to help gather all these items together and deliver them to the staff.

Our community has rallied together to support our amazing nurses and doctors and thanks to both Peter and Carol who work behind the scenes everyday.
