A huge thank you to our community who have stepped up to support our doctors and nurses.

At the start of the week The Havering Daily put an appeal out for toiletries for our staff at Queen’s and King George’s hospital who have had to move out of their homes whilst caring for patients with Covid19.

Staff living in hostels and hotels, found themselves with no toiletries at all and as a result we put an appeal out for help.

Many of you have responded and on behalf of everyone involved I would like to thank you all.

There is still time to donate if you would like to donate the following products: Deodorant, shampoo, shower gel, combs, toothpaste, sanitary products, shaving foam, Bic razors, and hand cream.

Pillows and fleece blankets.
