BREAKING: Stabbing in South Hornchurch

A stabbing is believed to have taken place tonight in South Hornchurch.

Police were called around 7pm to reports of an 17 year old male seriously assaulted just off of Lowen Road on the Orchard Village estate.

An eye witness told the Havering Daily:

“A guy ran up behind the teenager and hit him on the back of the head with a knife and then cut him across his body and his face. There was blood coming out of everywhere. It’s shocking.”

Local residents looked on in horror as emergency service vehicles arrived at the scene.
