Father Christmas switches on Upminster lights.
Father Christmas made a special visit to Upminster on Thursday evening to switch on the town Christmas lights.
The streets were packed with spectators and happy children all joining in the festive spirit.
The crowd joined in the count down as the lights were finally switched on by Father Christmas himself.
