Sycamore Trust confirm return of autism law clinic.

Local autism charity the Sycamore Trust are pleased to confirm the return of one of their most popular services.

The Trust will again be able to offer a free legal advice service for people with ASD.  The Autism Law Clinic, a unique collaboration between the Trust, the University of East London and Duncan Lewis Solicitors, has been in operation for a couple of years at the Autism Hub in the Liberty Shopping Centre in Romford and it will be back in October.

There are five dates in the diary for 2019 and if previous clinics are anything to go by, the Trust expect appointments to go quickly, so staff are asking anyone interested to book early.

The dates and consultation subjects are as follows

  • 9th October 2019 – family/child care
  • 23rd October 2019 – housing
  • 6th November 2019 – family/child care
  • 20th November 2019 – housing
  • 4th December 2019 – employment

The law clinic is open to everyone, but only by appointment.  The clinic operates from the Autism Hub in the Liberty Shopping Centre, and provides legal advice and information relating to subjects such as housing, child care and employment for members of the autistic community. To make an appointment, please call 01708 749816 or email
